Snorkel at the Tugboat shipwreck (Curaçao’s best snorkel spot), cruise through the beautiful Spanish Water area, and see Willemstad’s Pontoon Bridge from the water. By car: Jan Thiel Beach is located at Kaya Adriatiko in the Jan Thiel Bay area. From Willemstad, follow the signs for Jan Thiel Beach / Zanzibar. Free parking is available on site. The drive from most hotels and resorts takes 10–25 minutes.
By taxi: A taxi from Willemstad or the cruise port to Jan Thiel Beach costs approximately $15–25 one way. Ask your hotel reception to arrange a taxi, or contact us and we can recommend reliable taxi drivers.
From your resort: Many hotels and resorts on the island offer shuttle services to Jan Thiel Beach. Check with your reception if this service is available.
Once you arrive at Jan Thiel Beach, walk to Zanzibar Beach & Restaurant. Our crew will arrive there with the boat. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the departure time.

Jan Thiel is approximately 15 minutes by taxi from the Willemstad Mega Pier cruise terminal. The fare is around $15–25 one way. For cruise ship passengers, we also offer boarding at Mood Beach (Mambo Beach), which is only 10 minutes from the cruise port.
Q: Do I need to pay beach entrance for the tour?
No. When you arrive for a Powerboat Caribbean tour, you walk directly to the Zanzibar pier. You do not need to pay the regular Jan Thiel Beach entrance fee.
Q: Can I store my belongings during the tour?
We recommend bringing only essentials. We have a dry storage compartment for your bags. Do not bring items you are afraid to get wet.
