Cancellation & refunds

In principle, we have a 24-hour policy. You can reschedule or cancel your trip for free up to 24 hours before it starts. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the start of the tour, you are not entitled to a refund.

The boats

We advise people with back, neck, or other complaints not to book a Powerboat tour. The sea around Curaçao is quite rough for 80% of the year, with high waves and a lot of wind. This makes a Powerboat trip very spectacular but less suitable for people with physical complaints. Unfortunately, pregnant women cannot join a day trip either. However, they can join a Spanish Water tour (calm inland water).
We have three boats in our company. Depending on the tour and the number of participants, we schedule the boats accordingly. We find all three boats to offer a similar experience. The largest boat can accommodate up to 18 people, and the smallest can hold up to 8. They all travel at about the same speed. If you have a preference for a specific boat, please send us a message, and we'll see what we can do.
One of our unique selling points is that the chance of getting seasick is very small, much smaller than on other boats! This is mainly because we travel quickly and you are in the open air. Additionally, it's important to keep in mind that you won't get seasick. Check out Tripadvisor to read reviews from people who normally get seasick but didn’t with us.

Other

You do not need to be able to swim, but please let us know when booking and we will ensure that the crew pays extra attention to you.
You know your child best. If he/she likes roller coasters and is not afraid of speed then it is possible. We have had children aged 4-5 years on board before. Our experience is that small children sometimes find it scary. But, as mentioned, you know your child best. A Powerboat trip is completely safe for small (and large) children.

We recommend wearing clothing that can get wet (sports clothing). A towel, cap/hat and sunscreen is definitely a good idea. If you have sunburn, be careful not to apply sunscreen and then immediately jump into the sea. A UV shirt (rashguard) actually provides the best protection against the sun. We also sell these in our webshop.

We do not offer a pick-up service ourselves. We are happy to help you arrange a taxi.
